Item Description
1-7/8" tall brass full figure of McKinley with a small loop on the top edge. To the right of his foot is a small brass tab which is pushed causing his hand with extended thumb to appear with the thumb next to his nose in a derogatory gesture. Unlike the 1880 and 1920 versions of this mechanical, this one carries text on the reverse. The head area is inscribed "Pat Applied For." In raised lettering over the length of his body is the text "McKinley/To Democrats/And/Populist." Some trivial tarnish but nice all over brass tone. Unlisted in Hake and the only example known to us. Rare. See Harding version #266.
