Item Description
First is 2.5" tall heavy brass badge c.1930 showing logo of bus and trolley for "Cincinnati Street Railway" above title "Supervisor." Minor luster wear. Rare. Second is heavy silvered brass badge to hold a name card with enamel "Esso Service" at the top. 2.25" wide. Minor tarnish. Next is sample badge with serial number "0000" below real photo of man with rim text "Continental Motors Corporation." Good bit of silvering is gone so more a muted brass tone but no damage to the cello center. Next is 2.75" wide plastic badge promoting "Service/Profits/Champion Spark Plugs." Design is printed on the celluloid but sides are open for the insertion of a name card which is present but not filled in. Maker name on back of W&H. 1930s. Last are a pair of 3.5" buttons both promoting "Atlantic Tire Club." Both of these are made by Bastian. The one at left has a couple of white streaks as printed and one at right may show a few dirt dots at bottom now removed as both are actually NM as made. Nice group of seldom seen items.
