Item Description
Three celluloid are 1.25" and the larger litho is 1-3/8". Group begins with a rarity but with three full horizontal craze lines. Pictured is smiling Lindy as a real photo with Statue Of Liberty above his shoulder at left and Eiffel Tower (illustrated) above his shoulder at right. The three horizontal hairlines are on the upper half of the button and since there is no stain it still displays clean and glossy. Next is quite scarce "America First/Our Lindy" litho also showing the iconic monuments along with him and his plane all capped by a spread winged eagle at the top. There are about a dozen small dots of missing paint mostly on the right rim edge with very little from the central area. We've seen only several of these in five decades and this one remains in clean condition but overall just VG. Third button has slightly darker tone on lower half and a very fine craze line at the center crossing his chin plus another one over his shoulder at the right. Also tiny cut on top edge. Uncommon but just Fair condition. Last with gold background is "Welcome Lindy" with W&H back paper and in NM condition.
