Item Description
Each is 6.25" across slightly domed metal with a raised groove along the bottom edge for fastening. Both include football stitching as part of the designs although on the one reading "Virginia Tech" this does not show up much as it is black against the dark brown background. This has numerous but small scattered scratches most .25" or less. Still with gloss. VG. Second with bold title "Parkersburg Big Reds" includes dates for six "Home Games - 1937." This plate is from West Virginia and includes name of maker "Erickson-Des Moines." Numerous but generally small scattered scratches. About Fine. Very scarce local issues and the first we've seen.
