Item Description
2-5/8" tall well made glossy nickel-plated badge with vertical reverse pin. Center of the badge shows the Great Seal of the State of New Jersey. This stadium opened in 1937 and in 1956 & 1957 the Brooklyn Dodger's played 15 "Home" games there as a negotiating strategy to convince Brooklyn to build a new stadium replacing Ebbets Field. The Mint condition of this badge makes it difficult to date precisely but the stadium was demolished in 1985. A very limited official badge. Mint.
