Item Description
Lot includes four from set of six 1-1/8" dia. tin litho buttons. Includes Rootie Kazootie, Polka Dottie, Mr. Deetle Dootle and Poison Zoomack. Tiny scattered paint nicks. Set remains bright and glossy. VF. Lot also includes complete set of five promotional punch-out finger puppets, issued by Coca-Cola, c. early 1950s. Each is 3.25" wide and 6.75" to 7" tall die-cut stiff paper w/choice graphics. Likely designed for use in 6-packs of Coca-Cola (one of the show's sponsors). Characters include Rootie Kazootie, Polka Dottie, Gala-Poochie, El Squeako and Mr. Zumack. Reverse side of each has ink stamp "Patented By Duenewald Printing Corp." w/New York City address. All un-punched and NM/Mint. Last item is 6-7/8x8" Little Golden Book "Rootie Kazootie Detective." Second printing, ©1953. Title page has been signed by Estate/archives of show creator Steve Carlin, w/added "1999" date. Exc./NM. Comes with Hake's COA.
