Item numbers 1 through 1007 in auction 214
Item Description
Each is 2.25” without maker name or back paper. These are real photographs without dot pattern of paintings. They would have been issued in conjunction with his bi-centennial celebration in 1932. The first shows him with arm resting on a cannon barrel and other arm resting on the back of a horse. This has caption below “The Father Of His Country On The Battle Field.” Second shows him on horseback with drawn sword. Very impressive 2.25” size and outstanding detail. Only examples we’ve seen. NM displaying Mint.
