Item Description
First two mounts are marked “14K” on the reverse while the third is unmarked but does test as 14K as does the chain. Going back to the first item, this has a 10K chain. Elaborate design. Reverse has inscription “E.T.W./Bronx 87/1913/14K.” Slightest smoothing on the tip of the elks nose. NM and with a good size tooth 1.5” to the top of the mount. Second with a rare double tooth has enamel “BPOE” on front with enamel clock on reverse. Tiny blue stones in the elks eyes. Nose area is flattened and smooth. This chain is gold filled. Last is good sized single tooth with elaborate elks head and enamel clock above. Attached is a 14K chain about 9-1/2” long. The entire piece including the tooth weighs .91 oz (25.9 gram). When we calculated this gold was at $1223 per ounce which would equal a value of $590, but of course the weight of the tooth and enamel would need to be subtracted for an accurate weight. Beautiful piece. At this moment we have no further elks teeth charms to come as far as we know. Perhaps our final lot.
