Item Description
1.25” missing a back paper but known to have been produced by Baltimore Badge. Bright gold rim with text “South Carolina Inter-State And West Indian Exposition/Charleston, 1901-1902.” Beneath a palm tree are a pair of smiling black boys with their four hands grasping a large watermelon slice with the tiny text below “Down In Dixey.” A gorgeous and rare multi-color we’ve seen about half a dozen times.
