Item numbers 1 through 1007 in auction 214
Item Description
Group of six items 7/8” to 1.75” plus a 3-1/8” pocket knife. First with “Keep’em Shooting” names “U.S. Army Ordinance.” Tiniest hint of a little grey tone next to the bomb design. Curl names maker Bastian. Second is “Keep’em Afloat” showing ship. Next is scarce litho button issued by “War Man Power Commission/Northern California/Stay On The Job And Finish The Job/Labor Management Committee.” Small graphic of Uncle Sam rolling up a sleeve and holding a wrench. Next is a spinner issued by Cracker Jack. This has raised fan like blades picturing air planes with outer text “Let’s Go! U.S.A./Keep’em Flying!” Center text “Blow On It/See It Spin.” Next is button with same “Keep ‘em” text as previous spinner but showing a bomber against bright silver background. Last is cardboard milk bottle cap with slogan “Buy Victory Bonds/Keep’em Flying!” Last is pearlized grip pocket knife with image of planes on one side and slogan “Keep’em Flying!” Blade marked by “Colonial Prov. R.I.” Little oxidation on the top edge of the blade but otherwise very little wear. A nice group with numerous scarce items.
