Pair of large format BLBs, both versions printed by Whitman, ©1934. BLBs feature alternating text pages and 76 stills from the 1935 MGM film adaptation (which starred Freddie Bartholomew and W.C. Fields) of Charles Dickens' novel "David Copperfield." Story by Eleanor Packer (adapted from Dickens and film). First is file copy of the hardcover BLB #1148. Photo cover. Book has some minor color rubs. Pages are evenly aged to cream in color but BLB has never been fully opened. NM. Superior, high grade example. Second is softcover version #NN w/"David Copperfield" title printed on first and last blank pages. Scattered lt. wear w/some rippling to spine surface.
