Framed 26.5x28.5" with a 21x23" opening revealing the striking textile featuring a battle scene with a large American flag and cannon at center. Next to this Captain May sits on horseback with hand extended to accept the sword General LaVega is surrendering. Tiny figure at top left is Taylor giving instructions to several troops. Listed in Threads of History reference as number 200. The ornate design retains a rich range of colors and is in Exc. condition, professionally framed and ready for display. Julie Powell Collection.
