Item Description
Each is 2.25x1.5x1.25" dia. Each reads "Frank Pierce" and "Fillmore" respectively on one side of the stem while the other reads "President". Pierce has 1/8" chip at top of bowl in candidate's hairline otherwise only scattered minor wear. Fine. Fillmore has loss of finish on stem as well as a chip about half the circumference of the extreme top of the bowl. Good. Both are nice examples of fragile terracotta pipes of this era. Julie Powell Collection.
