Item Description
After World War Two, westerns began to emerge as one of the most popular genres in film and radio. Comic Publishers started to move towards the public’s tastes went. Fawcett took the title Wow Comics and with issue #70, changed it to Western Heroes. Their covers relied on both photos of popular film cowboys and good looking art. This painted cover also features photos of Tom Mix, Monte Hale and Hopalong Cassidy. With that many stars you just know that this is an anthology. The pages are white. According to the CGC Census, this copy is the second highest graded copy they have seen and is recognized as belonging to the Mile High Pedigree.
