Item Description
Original envelope contains 5x7" generic textured Christmas card w/printed greeting and handwritten message from Superman co-creator/writer Jerry Siegel that reads "Hope You And Yours Are Well And Happy, Charlie. Jerry Siegel & Family." An interesting extra has been added to card, w/Siegel drawing a rough profile head sketch of Superman, a novel piece in that Siegel was not the artist for Superman, instead serving as the writer of his early exploits. Card is NM. Envelope has also been hand-addressed by Siegel and bears Dec. 20, 1980 Los Angeles, CA postmark. Tiny piece of corner off, but o/w VF. Charlie Roberts Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
