"Comic Story Paint Book Featuring Captain Marvel And Captain Marvel Jr." measures 11x14.75" w/64 pages and stiff cardboard covers. Samuel Lowe Co. 1943. Contents consist of two complete Fawcett comic book stories page layouts including several full color comic panels to be used as color guides for larger bw matching illustrations. First story is "Captain Marvel Detective" and second is World War II-related "Captain Marvel Jr. And The Iron Heel Of The Huns." With exception of six painted panels (w/some bleed over), rest of book remains unused w/lightly tanned, supple pages. Painted name on inside back cover at top has bled onto top of last page. Two Uncle Sam stickers have been added to book interior. Cover has spine wear/pinch creases along w/some general lt. handling. Fine. Scarce. 6.75x11" "Hoppy The Marvel Bunny - A Funny Animal Paint Book" has 16 unused pages. © Fawcett Publications, c. 1940s. Some lt. cover corner tip wear. VF.
