Item Description
Each is 1.25". First is a beautiful 1.25" showing two couples in vehicle with text on the side "The Montgomery Ward & Co. Electric Horseless Carriage." This is the only button known to us to use the term "Horseless Carriage." Complete with back paper, often missing, which shows the Montgomery Ward guarantee. Bottom curl of button names W&H maker plus an 1896 patent date. A beautiful example with great color and high gloss. NM displaying Mint. Next button has covered concave tin back with fixed horizontal bar pin. Curl carries maker name Ad Craft, Detroit and front pictures streamlined vehicle with text "Ride The Green Lane Of Safety In A New 1939 Hudson." Scarce and NM displaying Mint.
