Item Description
Gorgeous 1-1/8" tall red, blue and white enamel on brass figural pin depicting a pair of motor cycle riders in helmets with goggles above text naming "Sheffield Speedway Supporters' Club." Reverse has hinged vertical pin. The brass tab that holds the pinpoint has a slight bend to it but is fully functional. On the front at the top of the blue helmet there are about three tiny specks of missing enamel but nothing deep enough to reveal the brass beneath. These show only on the closest inspection and mostly just in reflected light. A great Art Deco styled badge from the 1930s and the only example we've seen in our 49 years. Exc.
