Item Description
Here is a rare 2.25" tall silvered brass and celluloid ribbon badge produced the year before the invention of the pin-back button. Silvered brass hanger and frame with celluloid center displaying the "LAW" spoked wheel/wing logo surrounded by "New York State Division" surrounded by "Grand Annual Meet Brooklyn And Coney Island June 14-15, 1895." The piece carries W&H maker name on both the celluloid front and tin reverse. Only the slightest wear on the ribbon. All else is essentially Mint. A rare local two day issue and one of the few dated celluloid pieces from 1895.
