Item Description
10.5x16" thin artboard features pencils by artist Mike Sekowsky and inks by Jack Abel. Original art for page 13 of the Dec. 1970 issue of "Adventure Comics" #400, published by DC Comics. Sekowsky (1923-1989) was a comic book artist known as the penciler for "Justice League Of America" during most of the 1960s, and as the regular writer and artist on "Wonder Woman" during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Page features four panels and features Supergirl being attacked in the first three. She has been tied up w/ropes dusted w/Kryptonite and is being used as a bowling pin in a game where Kryptonite bowling balls were hurled at her. Her attackers - Black Flame, The Inventor, L. Finn and The Toymaster - are all seen in last panel. Top margin has stamped title and inked date/issue number. Tiny tip off upper left corner and lower right has 3.25" diagonal crease w/spot of aging at margin. Despite the crease, art remains clean and Exc.
