Item Description
Pair of 11.25x16.25" DC Comics artboards contain original art for pages 2 and 3 of "Sgt. Rock" #348, published by DC Comics in Jan. 1981. Art by Dick Ayers has been inked by Ron Randall for "One-Armed Soldier" story by Robert Kanigher. First page features three smaller panels showing titular one-armed soldier in hospital begging Sgt. Rock to let him use bazooka. Story switches to flashback, showing Easy Company crossing bridge. Splash panel continues onto next page, showing German Panther tank firing, destroying bridge. This second page has large hand-lettered "Sgt, Rock Of Easy Co. In 'One-Armed Soldier'" title. Each artboard has three of four corners clipped, none affecting art. Scattered aging and lt. handling, VF overall w/Exc. art.
