Large 2-1/8" button, the second of three different known designs and issued for the same event as the previous button c. 1900. On this one a blindfolded initiate in a nightshirt hangs onto the halter of a laughing camel who wears a fez and a sponsoring company shirt collar which is accented by Shrine symbols. Same back paper as the previous item. The very extreme outer edge of the button has ten virtual pinpoint age dots that are barely seen. About 99% of the button surface is clean and glossy and with gorgeous unfaded color. This version is about five times scarcer than the previous version. We've had about three over a 49 year span and this is the first we've been able to offer since Auction #199.
