Item Description
7-1/8x21-7/8" craft tint artboard has three panel original art for strip #4243 from Aug. 26, 1968. "The Flintstones" comic strip began Oct. 2, 1961 and ran to 1988. Illustrated by Gene Hazelton and Roger Armstrong, the strip was distributed by the McNaught Syndicate, whose copyright strip appears in last panel. Art features Fred Flintstone in all three panels, talking to Annie, who has received a phone call from Rocky, who tells her of his 12-foot pole vault. Gag is revealed in last panel where Annie says the gym only has an 11-foot ceiling, much to Fred's shock. Artboard has pin holes at corners and aging to tint areas but art is o/w Exc.
