Item Description
9x12" sheet of spiral-bound art paper features pen and ink original art of Gamora, the adopted daughter of Thanos and the last of her species. She currently serves as a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy and was featured prominently in the 2014 blockbuster film "Guardians Of The Galaxy." Art was created by her creator comic book artist/writer Jim Starlin, who is known for revamping the Marvel Comics characters Captain Marvel and Adam Warlock; and for creating or co-creating Thanos, Drax the Destroyer and Shang-Chi, Master of Kung Fu. Gamora is depicted as she first appeared, in skintight outfit w/extremely low-cut front, revealing ample cleavage. Art has been inscribed "To Mike" at lower right and signed by Starlin. Art was obtained in-person at Creation Con in Philadelphia, PA on July 26, 1980, just five years after her debut and decades before her break-out success. Top margin has some handling wear and left margin is as removed from spiral binding. VF overall, but art remains clean and Exc.
