See previous item #1689. Offered here are pair of 11-5/8x18-7/8" and 11.75x19" artboards w/pen and ink original art for "Species" #4, published by Dark Horse in 1995. Page 24 features five panels; first showing Sil (in alien form) recoiling in horror at the sight of her child burning to death. Sil then proceeds to angrily leap towards Preston Lennox, who aims his rifle at her and shoots, exploding her upper body, killing her. Page 25 is splash page, showing Sil's ravaged body, her arm separated and away from her body, which leaks blood and entrails. Paste-over text blocks and dialog balloon.
