Item Description
14.75" tall overall w/great likeness of Popeye. A number of different Popeye carnival statues were produced in the 1930s, this rather uncommon example featuring wonderful detail including stenciled anchor tattoos on Popeye's arms. Exc overall. Among the nicest Popeye carnival statues we've seen, featuring a much nicer paint job (in correct colors) than typically seen and w/the added attraction of strong tattoo images. Any statue in this choice condition is a rarity. Eric Renner Collection.
