Item Description
First is .75" early 1900s button with Bastian back paper  showing "Sharples" cream separator. Mint.  Next is superb color 1" oval cello on 2.25" brass stickpin by W&H. "Sharples" on front plus company name/address on brass back. Last is 1.75" plus 2.5" fabric flag suspended from spring pin. Essence of the text is that ex-Wisconsin Governor William Hoard, a staunch supporter of the dairy industry,  is raising a fund of $10,000 to lobby Congress to put a tax of 10¢ per pound on Oleo when it is colored yellow to mimic butter. This button was given to contributors of 50¢. Trace of tone on flag. Button Mint.
