Item Description
1.25" with Baldwin & Gleason back paper c. 1897. Shown is Swiss woman (Dr. De Laval was Swiss) operating the Alpha Disc model introduced in 1890. This is the first ad button issued by the company and we believe the only one we've offered in our 50 years. From color plate page #155. Surface just a tiny bit dented to the touch and the most trivial, barely visible, traces of age on outer rim edge. Defects are exceedingly minor. Unfaded color and full gloss. Exc. Comes w/Hake's COA.
