Item Description
Two 12x16" riker mounts full of 60 plus high school and college buttons some with just school name but most issued to promote the school football team. A few non-buttons include early "UD" brass football stickpin, a "RAH-RAH" megaphone 1930s replica brass pin & a ceramic wall plaque for 1962 Central Catholic. A few button highlights: KC Wolfpack, "All Stars", a rare 1950s flasher showing cartoon Univ. of Cal. fierce mascot bear Oski wearing "Cal" hat which alternates to cartoon Indian with slogan "Stanford Go To Hell". There is also a scarce movie serial button with rare but worn ribbon for the 1931 movie "The All American" with Richard Arlen. A few tiny age traces on a few, but a very clean lot with most Exc. to Mint and many rarities. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
