Item Description
Pair of linen-mounted posters, both printed in 1918 in conjunction w/"War Camp Community Service - United War Work Campaign." Smaller 20.25x30" poster features old woman playing piano as group of US sailors sing. Printed by Heywood Strasser & Voigt Litho Co. of New York. Poster has no restoration and aside from .75" tear at lower left, displays Exc. as linen-mounted. Larger 27.75x42.25" poster features portrait of smiling American soldier, Marine and sailor by M. Leone Bracker at top w/"Keep 'Em Smiling! Help War Camp Community Service. 'Morale Is Winning The War'" text. Poster has had no restoration and has even aging. Top right has 4" tear, not distracting. .5" V-shaped tear just below "Smiling" text. Displays VF as linen-mounted.
