Item Description
1.75" litho. Patriotic design w/US flags and an eagle. The 1953 Milwaukee Braves season was the 83rd season of the franchise. It saw the return of Major League Baseball to Milwaukee for the first time since 1901, where the original Milwaukee Brewers played before moving to St. Louis and becoming the Browns. With attendance and interest in Boston very low, team owner Lou Perini moved the team to Milwaukee, WI, during spring training, just weeks before the start of the season. Scattered surface wear w/some scuffs and scratches but much only seen upon close inspection. Remains glossy and Fine overall. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
