Item Description
3.75x2-5/8". The 1955 Topps set is numerically the smallest of the regular annual issues. This issue marked the first time that Topps would use a horizontal card format for the entire set. Many of the same photos used the previous year in 1954 appear again in the 1955 series. Although originally planned as a 210 card set, four cards were never issued, making it final at 206.

Milwaukee Braves. Second year card. Best known for breaking Babe Ruth's record for career home runs, which previously stood at 714, "Hammerin' Hank" formed a dynamic duo with fellow Braves teammate, Ed Mathews, which went unmatched in National League history. Aaron was an NL MVP, 25-time All-Star, 2-time Batting Titleist, 3-time Gold Glover and World Champion in 1957. Henry was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982.
