Item Description
6" to 7" long each. Center ribbon has applied cello portrait of the 1896 Republican nominee w/ ribbons fastening the portrait in place. Ribbon on left features John Elkin alongside Quay, who was proposed to be the Republican Party chairman. Elkin went on to serve as Attorney General of Pennsylvania as well as an Associate Justice on the PA Supreme Court. Jugate ribbon is Exc., while center ribbon has area of loss in upper right corner and is Fine. Ribbon on right has area of thinness and fraying along top edge. VF. A nice trio of ribbons for this 1896 hopeful.
