7/8" w/ filled metal back and "Pettibone" imprint on reverse. Scattered faint staining on surface, otherwise glossy w/ moderate wear. Fine. Pattison was a Congressman from Ohio from 1891-1893. He was a longshot hopeful but stood no chance against William McKinley, the Ohio governor, who won easily on the 1st ballot. Pattison went on to become Governor of Ohio, w/ his term beginning in January of 1906. Unfortunately, his term was cut short when he died in June of that same year from Bright's Disease.
