Item Description
2.75" tall handled cup. Made in England, early 1930s. Cup features action scene of Mickey Mouse running away from charging tiger, w/"My Gosh! I've Got To Get That Tiger's Mind On Something Else Besides Me!" text. Small "Walter E. Disney" name appears below Mickey's feet. Traditional Paragon accents appear on rim and underside features "T. Goode & Co. - South Audley St. - London.W." Thomas Goode was a china, silverware and glass shop in Mayfair, London that held two royal warrants to supply the British royal household. Cup remains totally bright, clean and glossy. Exc. All Paragon china is highly sought after, and this is just the second example we've offered of this particular cup design in our 57 years (the other bearing traditional Paragon markings originated from the Wengel Collection and sold for $1,421 in 2016). First and only example of any Paragon piece we've seen marked this way.
