2.5" square tin litho bank w/classic image of Superman breaking chains, three sides featuring Superman comic book title logo. Reverse has woodgrain variety design w/sliding trap door. c. 1940, © DC. Superman is depicted w/fleshtone hands and face, a variety was also produced w/these areas in white. Scattered aging/edge wear w/lt. scratches. VG/Fine overall. Harry Matetsky Collection.
