3.5x5.5" promotional postcard for Edgar Rice Burroughs' seventh book in his Tarzan series, published by A.C. McClurg & Co. in 1919. Postcard features art by noted Tarzan illustrator J. Allen St. John and this same art appeared on McClurg's first edition cover. Tarzan fans would write the publisher requesting information about future novels and these rare promotional cards were sent out to promote upcoming books. Brief story synopsis on reverse. Unused.
