Item Description
14x22" original thick cardboard window card printed before the show by Colby Poster Printing Co. advertising "Divinyls Thunder From Downunda Tour Coming To: Harpos Sat. July 23" in the Motor City. Promoting the "New Album 'Desperate' on Chrysalis Records & Cassettes" was released just six months earlier and was the bands first US tour establishing a fan base w/out achieving major commercial success yet. Authentic poster w/obvious wear, most notably moisture band on right side and staining on left side of image at center, staple holes w/discoloration in all corners and scattered staining on verso. Good. Pink ombre background surrounding the debut studio album cover is still bold and makes a great collectors piece of new wave music history celebrating female frontwoman Chrissy Amphlett.
