Item Description
2x3.25". The 1921-23 National Caramel (E220) baseball set consists of 121 cards issued between 1921 and 1923. Each unnumbered card features a black-and-white player likeness within a white border on the card front. The player's full name, team name, position, and league also appear within the image area. The National Caramel baseball set is generally considered scarce and difficult to complete.

Sherrod Malone (Sherry) Smith (February 18, 1891 - September 12, 1949) was a starting pitcher in Major League Baseball. From 1911 until 1927, he pitched for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1911-12), Brooklyn Robins (1915-17, 1919-1922) and Cleveland Indians (1922-1927). Smith batted right-handed and threw left-handed. He was born in Monticello, Georgia. Smith played in two World Series.
