Item Description
2-3/8x2-7/8". Goudey's 1934 Big League Gum set consists of 96 cards. Goudey retained the cards sturdy construction, painted images and blazing color that had set a modern standard in terms of eye-appeal. Minor tweaks to the card front included discreet line-drawing graphics of ball-playing figures in action, and a showcase of one of the game's most prominent heroes.

Bill Terry played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Giants from 1923 to 1936 and managed the Giants from 1932 to 1941. Terry was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1954. The autograph is strong and well placed at the bottom of the card without impeding the image.
