3.5x5.5" vintage glossy postcard depicting 19 team members in full uniform along w/one gentleman dressed in formal attire and two young batboys seated in front. Identification in lower left-hand corner reads "Appleton Baseball Club 1951". The 1951 Appleton Papermakers finished in eighth place in the Class D Wisconsin State League w/a final record of 43-80 under co-managers, Joe Skurski and Paul Erickson. Image quality of the postcard is superb. Divided postcard back remains blank and unused. DuPont stamp box dates the postcard to 1945-1950s, which is consistent with the subject matter pictured.
