3.5x5.5" vintage matte postcard depicting Ollie Tucker during his minor league stint w/the Buffalo Bisons ball club of the International League in 1932. Below the image of Tucker is player bio information w/divided back never postally used. Tucker spent 4 of his 15 minor league seasons playing for the Bisons, while enjoying a brief MLB career w/Washington in 1927 and Cleveland in 1928. The postcard being offered here appears to be part of an uncatalogued team issue as Buffalo also produced cards of Bisons players scattered throughout the 1930's and early 1940's. This is the first example from this series that we have ever encountered. Scattered spots of rubbing visible on front and back along w/residue staining on back consistent w/scrapbook pasting. Fine.
