Item Description
3.25x5.25" vintage silver gelatin real photo postcard depicting 15 teammates in full uniform along w/a mascot dog posed in front of stadium seating. Identification at bottom front of postcard reads "Jackson Baseball Team Season 1913" along w/the individual player names and corresponding positions. Photographer credit noted as "Robb & Conant". The 1913 Jackson Lawmakers played in the Cotton State League, finishing in 1st place w/a final record of 71-24. Divided postcard back remains blank and unused. AZO stamp box dates the postcard to 1904-18. Lt. corner wear w/two spots of photo loss at bottom center of postcard front. Fine. Richard Merkin Collection.
