Item Description
3.25x5.25" vintage matte real photo postcard depicting 11 team members in full uniform along w/one gentleman dressed in military attire posed on a ballfield w/baseball equipment prominently displayed in foreground. Team identification at bottom reads "U.S.S. Texas Baseball Team Before game with Navy Headquarters Team July 29, 1918". Photographer's credit at bottom reads "Denson." Divided postcard back remains blank and unused w/AZO stamp box dating it to 1910-1930. Minor handling wear w/no significant condition issues to note. VF. Richard Merkin Collection.
