27x41" poster for the 1966 re-release of Columbia Pictures' 1949 Batman And Robin 15-Chapter movie serial. Inspired by the wave of Batmania brought on by the 1966 Batman TV show, theaters happily offered any iteration of the Dynamic Duo they could, promoted on this poster as "THE Saturday-Sunday Matinee Show Of The Year!" Poster features Golden Age comic book illustration of Batman and Robin, taken from the cover of Batman #9 (March 1942). Poster promotes "Part 1 - Chapters 1 To 8" and has been folded as issued. Scattered edge wear w/a few small tears at fold creases at top/bottom center. Fine/VF overall.
