Item Description
2.25". No maker. Fabric ribbon holds metal link chain that has 5" long "Louisville Slugger" bat w/Phillies name and hat logo (used 1950-69). Button design also includes small baseball image on left center rim. Shown in Phillies uniform, he played for the team in 1960, 1962-68). Phillies name/loge worn and faint but can still be made out. Robert Paul Wine Sr. was a shortstop, coach and manager in Major League Baseball. In addition to the Phillies he played for the Monteal Expos 1969-72. He managed the Braves in1985 and was a coach for the Phillies, Braves and Mets between 1972-96. A World Series Champion in 1980 with the Phillies and Gold Glove Award winner in 1963.
