10.5x15-7/8" artboard has pen and ink original art by Mike Vosburg for Star Wars Annual #1, published by Marvel in 1979. Art was inked by Steve Leialoha and is for page 10 and features seven panels from "The Long Hunt!" storyline, showing Han Solo with fellow Corellian and romantic partner Katya M'Buele before leaving to pay a visit to his former fence Laskar for information about Kharys, the Majestrix of Skye. Second panel showing Han and Katya embracing is a replaced panel featuring original art w/inked and stat word balloons; replacement panel secured w/aged masking tape on back of artboard, which has resulting in faint aging at this area. Top margin has stamped "Star Wars" title along w/inked "Inv" notation and page number. Top left corner has been clipped and top margin has thin strip of tape staining, not affecting art. Back has Marvel copyright stamp w/blue pencil notation and some scattered staining, which does not show through onto front. Small streak of moisture staining at upper left margin, slightly intruding into first panel, but not overly distracting. Art otherwise remains clean and displays VF. This piece (and other Star Wars original art offered in this auction) is fresh to market and this is its first time at auction. All came from one collector, and each is an incredible find.
