Item Description
4" dia. cello button features photo images of The Three Stooges - Moe, Larry and Curly (misspelled here as "Curley"). Button used to promote the airing of Three Stooges short comedies on TV, c. 1959. Cream/off-white is the original color of this pinback. We have seen examples of this button w/attached WFIL-TV ribbon, indicating button was issued for Philadelphia, PA viewing area. However, this example never had a ribbon and was most likely issued in the Midwest. Less than half a dozen (both with and without ribbon) examples are known. Slightest trace of surface wear, but still bright, glossy and Exc. Rare.
