Item Description
7” tall. Dramatic Apotheosis Washington’s ascent into heaven as referenced in Arman W.39 but w/elaborate reverse seen in W.45. Mourners including a young man w/flag, angel and presumably the Marquis de Lafayette surrounding the First in War, First in Peace tombstone under linked states. Imperfection under glaze on spout rim and fine crack at spout joint. Scattered chips along base, one barely visible in display center reverse. VF. Rex & Patti Stark Collection.
