Item Description
10” in dia. Bold black transfer on creamware of Columbia w/flag shield, eagle and memorial obelisk w/inscription. Believed to be part of a china set specifically made for the 1797 marriage of a Long Island couple. Two matching pieces (one w/initials) reside at the Wintherthur Museum. Strong display piece. Trivial wear to accent rim panels and hairline crack on reverse that does not extend through. Exc. Rex & Patti Stark Collection.
